OVERVIEW:
Street Rod Action was a re-titling of Rod Action magazine in 1989. The publishing company,
Challenge Publications, was located in Canoga Park, California.
In May 1996, Street Machine magazine was folded into this title. The co-titling was kept until February 1998 when the Street Machine reference was dropped. Street Rod Action ended shortly thereafter.

The publisher provided net paid circulation data intermittently to The Standard Periodical Directory from 1990
through 2000. Annual print volume was reported as 140,000.
CONTENT COMPLETENESS:
