Hop-Up was a re-titling of How To Hop-Up Your Engine. Numbering carried forward from the previous title. It was printed sporadically from August, 1963 until May, 1965.
Hop-Up was printed in large format by Harle Publications in Canton, Ohio (with offices in New York). The first publisher was Fred Gardener, and the first editor was Lee Sparacio. Later, Fred Tarter became and publisher and Lowell Jay was the editor. Harle Publications also contributed to Speed Mechanics and Custom Craft titles.
