Ol' Skool Rodz (or OSR) was started in 2003 by Koolhouse Publishing and Geno DiPol. The magazine focuses on the "kulture lifestyle" and is oriented to the new generation of gearheads and traditional hot rods and customs. It features artwork, pin-ups and lots of tatoos.
The publisher is now Murphos Publishing in Denville, New Jersey, which purchased the title in April 2019. Alan Mayes continues as the managing editor. Murphos also owns Car Kulture Deluxe, and both sister publications are produced bi-monthly in alternate months.
