The magazine was a re-titling of Drag Racing when it was purchased by Lopez Publications.
Lopez Publications was owned by Adrian Lopez. He had a long career in publishing, and from the 1930s forward his companies owned such titles as Vital Detective, True Life Detective Stories, Mr. and Man To Man . Mr. Lopez died in 2004 at the age of 98.
