OVERVIEW:
Drag Racing Monthly was a re-titling of
Super Stock & Drag Illustrated (SSDI). It was a monthly
publication that was devoted to the drag racing enthusiast. It provided comprehensive coverage of the latest developments in the
drag racing sport. And it was targeted to both the experienced as well as the novice drag racer who is still sharpening his or her race car.
General Media operated it under their business entity, General Media Automotive Group. Re-titling happened with the July, 1996 issue. and numbering continued from the predecessor title.

PUBLICATION DATA:
Drag Racing Monthly provided net paid circulation data to Gale Research in 1998. For that one year, the
publisher printed about 9,500 issues.
CONTENT COMPLETENESS
A total of 35 issues was printed from July, 1996 through May, 1999. All images are complete.
