OVERVIEW:
The last monthly print issue for the original Muscle Car Review (MCR) title ended in January, 2002. Primedia then shifted to a series of quarterly publications starting with the Winter, 2002 issue. These were published as "specials" under different magazine "brands" - Hot Rod, Car Craft, and Chevy High Performance. This continued until Spring, 2005. Like the original Dobbs publication, the title covered post WW2 U.S. domestic muscle cars. It included feature vehicles as well as technical and restoration tips. MCR mostly competed against Hemmings Muscle Machines.

The title went to a monthly schedule starting with the May, 2007 issue. It continued through January, 2020 when print production ended.
