OVERVIEW:
In 2003, just one year after ending the original Muscle Car Review (MCR) title, Primedia resurrected it with a series of quarterly publications starting with the Spring, 2003 issue. Like the original, the title covered post WW2 U.S. domestic muscle cars. It included feature vehicles as well as technical and restoration tips. MCR mostly competed against Hemmings Muscle Machines.

The title went to a monthly schedule starting with the May, 2007 issue. It continued through January, 2020 when print production ended.

OWNERSHIP:
The title was published by Primedia, Source Interlink Media, TEN: The Enthusiast Network, and the Motor Trend Group as ownership and/or brand name changes occurred between 2007 and 2019.
