Sport Trucking was owned by Argus Publishers Corporation. This was a re-titling of
1001 Truck & Van Ideas. Numbering continued from its predecessor, and the executive editor was Dean Batchelor.
The magazine continued to focus on the light duty truck and van market. Content covered domestic and foreign road tests, "how-to" articles, featured vehicles, customized trucks and articles of general interest.
Argus had a slew of other competitors with van and truck content including Vans & Trucks and Truckin'.
