OVERVIEW:
VW Action was published bi-monthly by Daisy/Hi-Torque Publishing in Mission Hills, California. Content focused primarily on off-road racing activity with VW-powered vehicles, and also included competition updates, new products, road tests and how-to technical articles.

The publisher had many titles with "action" in the name, and later magazines included Mountain Bike Action, Motocross Action and ATV Action.

When the title ended, the publisher re-tooled and started a new title, 4WD Action. This new title continued into 1992.
