OVERVIEW:
On The Grid was a monthly magazine published by General Publishing Company Inc. at 185 North Wabash, Chicago Illinois.
Only eight issues were published starting in June, 1960. Content was focused on major motoring races from the US and Europe along with driver profiles.
It covered Grand Prix events in Europe, and had bureaus on the West Coast, Mid-West and East Coast to cover sport cars, Formula Jr and USAC events.
The publisher and editor was Ed Pazdur who has an amazing biography and had a full life. Larry Tomaras was the chief photographer, and he later became the editor for U.S. Auto Sports magazine.
The title was sold and re-titled as Today's Motorsports with the February, 1961 issue. It continued until January, 1964.
