OVERVIEW:
Kustoms Illustrated wonderfully resurrects the classic "little pages" or pocket-sized magazines of the 1950s and 1960s. It is a quarterly,
full color, 64-page publication artfully done by Luke Karosi in Ashford, Connecticut. Content focuses on traditional custom or "kustom" stylized
cars from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. Typically called "lead sleds", these cars are often chopped and include
brightly colored paints, white wall tires and numerous other body modifications.
The publisher had a major fire and lost his home and all aspects of the publishing business. The magazine is no longer published as of July, 2025.
