OVERVIEW:
Modern Karting was published monthly (except June and July) by Twentieth Century Publications in Huntington Beach, California.
The publisher was Jack Pelzer who also managed Karting World. The editor was Ronald Black.
The magazine seemed to focus on racing coverage, and it was printed in a full-sized format. Publication ceased around the time that U.S. karting seemed to be waning, and when European kart technology and racing held a dominant position.
