OVERVIEW:
Chevy Action was a re-titling of Rodder and Super Stock magazine. Content was focused on Chevrolet street and drag cars. Numbering continued from the previous title.

OWNERSHIP:
The title name was changed to Chevy Action with the March, 1974 issue. After the May, 1974 issue, ownership shifted from Magnum-Royal Publications to Popular Publications Inc. The new publisher was Harry Egner, but the editorial director remained Martyn Schorr.

PUBLICATION DATA:
Popular Publications provided net paid circulation data to The Standard Periodical Directory from 1975 to 1979. Average monthly print production was reported as 100,000 issues. More information can be found in the print volume details section.

CONTENT COMPLETENESS:
A total of 22 issues was printed from March, 1974 through September, 1977, then two additional issues were printed in 1978 - a Spring and annual issue. Magazine cover images are complete.
