OVERVIEW:
Thunder AM magazine was published by Martyn L. Schorr. The publishing company was Quicksilver Communications
at 167 Terrace Street in Hawarth, NJ. It was focused on Pontiac Firebirds and Trans Ams, and early advertising was
done in Car Craft. Seven issues were published, then the
title was purchased by Stephen Schneider. Mr. Schorr joined Schneider's JHS Publications team as editor, and the magazine was re-titled as
TA Magazine.
Schorr was the editor or contributor to dozens of automotive titles including Hi-Performance Cars, Custom Rodder, and Vette. More information on Mr. Schorr can be found here.

Quicksilver Communications provided net paid circulation data to N.W. Ayer in 1982 only. Average monthly print production
was reported as 38,400 issues. More information can be
