Travelin' Vans was published by E-Go Enterprises in Sherman Oaks, California. The publisher was Edward Goldstein, and the editor was Jim Matthews.
It was a monthly magazine that focused on vans, mini-trucks and pickups. Other titles by this publisher included
Travelin' 4X4s. Both titles eventually shared the same editor.
The title started in March, 1976 as Travelin' Vans For Work and Play. After the December, 1976 issue, it was re-titled as Travelin' Vans. Then with the October, 1977 issue, the publisher changed the title slightly to Travelin' Vans Mini Trucks and Pickups. This title remained to the end of publication.
