OVERVIEW:
Performance for the Chrysler Car Enthusiast was published by Robert Oskiera under the business name of
R.H.O. Publications. A re-titling of MoPerformance, it featured Mopar muscle cars. The magazines mostly covered older and
nostalgic performance vehicles, and it also included how-to articles, part identification codes, body tag data, club listings and occasionally
new Chrysler performance products.
With the February, 1996 issue, the title was changed to Chrysler Car Enthusiast Engines etc. Content remained unchanged. This same year, the publisher stopped using volume and series numbering and instead began using an issue number on the front cover. The issue number was simply the concatenation of the volume and series number. So volume 13 number 3 became issue #133.
Mr. Oskiera also produced Power Wagons & Sport Utes. Both titles were published in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
A big THANK YOU to reader Ian who contributed all of the missing issues!!
