OVERVIEW:
DSport is published by Michael Ferrara and Hard Media Inc. Content is focused on street performance upgrades to
foreign sport compact vehicles, often called "tuners". A re-titlng of Drag Sport, the title is still published as of 2022.
Mr. Ferrara began his career in 1994 with Turbo & Hi-Tech Performance magazine. In 1998, he and other racers, manufacturers and tuners organized the IDRC and held racing events. Later, the IDRC team decided to support racers with its own print publication entitled Drag Sport. After some financial challenges in 2002 and 2003 with pro racing events, the team pivoted to more street performance content in their magazine. This led to a re-titling in February, 2004 to DSport. This new title became a huge success and has outlasted most magazines in this category.
A unique aspect of this title and its predecessor Drag Sport is the use of "A" and "B" cover images. One image has a close-up of the model (talent), and the second images shows more of the vehicle. Also, our current understanding is that one image was available on newstands while the other one came from being a subscriber. Otherwise, internal content was identical. The use of these double images ended in December, 2011, when the publisher went to a straight sequential numbering scheme it still uses today.

CONTENT COMPLETENESS:
Over 300 issues have been printed from February, 2004 through 2022. However, images are only available through 2014 at this time.
